With this administration I don't think 8-4 is enough for them to pull the plug on Les. I do think 6-6 will be too much pressure for them to ignore. I've never rooted for lsu to lose games but right now lsu football is slowly bleeding to death. We no longer matter.

So it's a really tough spot. What is better for lsu in the long run? An 8-4 season and keeping Les or a 6-6 season and hiring Herman or Kiffin or X?

8-4 EQUALS NEW COACH.....
But to answer your question, 6-6. 8-4 does us no good

Whichever option yields a new coach.

The sooner Les is gone the better.

no brainer! 6-6 and new coach

we're talking about the next 10 years of LSU football

is there really much difference between 8-4 and 6-6 when you're not contending for titles?

8-4 will mean les is fired

hell, 9-3 might get him fired unless somehow we end up going to the SEC championship

I can even go for 0-12 if it guarantees that Les Miles is canned.

10-3 will probably get Les fired this year, but 9-4 definitely does.

7-5 and a new coach.

We will lose likely one more game (Auburn or Florida) before the gauntlet that is November.

The writing hopefully is already on the wall for Alleva. It's time to make a change. Just hope the change is to create a totally different culture with the hiring of Tom Herman

Its not a choice. We don't get to play these "this or that" scenarios.

Miles will step down as soon as LSU gets their 3rd loss this season, whenever that is.

Easy 6-6 new coach but I think 8-4 gets a new coach

Stupid question. Why would you take 8-4 and more Les? Both records are huge disappointments and both would result in mediocre-low end bowl games. Give me the record that results in a coaching change.

The problem I have with all of this is that last year, things didn't fall apart until later in the season. This year it is starting with the first game. Now we have to endure another mediocre bullshite season with all of this talent going to waste. I'd say 9-3 gets him fired but I've been wrong each and every time I make that prediction.

If LSU doesn't hire Peyton Manning they've failed.
