Only 11 titles for Bama? They won't like that

At what point does having a good program 50 years ago have relevance to program in today's era.

The way Bama counts titles gives us 6. Prior to one of the games I attended in Tuscaloosa, I went with a Bama friend to the Bryant museum. They displayed a history of their opponent for that week. I noticed they credited LSU with 4 nattys. This was either in 2001 or 2003 before our 2003 title. The title years were 1908, 2 in the 30s (if I remember correctly) and of course 1958. By their count, that makes 6 for LSU. So is it 3 or 6?

Let's see: Alabama, Ohio State, Oklahoma, USC, Texas, Notre Dame, Michigan,Tennessee, Penn State,Nebraska. New kids on the block, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Miami. I'll take 9 all day.

LSU will move up to 8 after the Orgeron Era.

Nebraska hasn’t done shite in the last 20 years. They need to be taken off that list.

I actually care about these things and have thought a lot about them and I have no problem with nine. I’d also say we were at around 14 around 20 years ago so the trajectory is excellent.

I can't really argue with that, although Nebraska hasn't done anything in a while. We'll just have to start breaking through this year.
