Are boats needed anywhere? I've got people with boats asking me where, and how to get there.

I think they're needed in AP near St. Amant. Might be able to put in somewhere along 431. Maybe someone in that area can confirm/correct.

Wick,

did they cut your power yet?

my brother lives on 22 near huff chapel and was told the power was going to be cut off soon...

they are dry but locked in by flood waters...

would suck to lose power when you've made it through the risk of rising waters...

back of my hood flooded, we stayed dry - no power... young choupique did a few rescues/fetches.....

had one of those surreal boy has become a man when he headed off with buddy into an unknown area.... I helped em launch boat - he said... " we got this - you will only take up room for people".... a bystander made the comment - that's the only boat I have seen go out there with life jackets on and enough for the people they get.

kill switch in use too...

Water did not get in my house, I'm not got to say it was close I built it 6.5' over the base flood elevation and because down there and inch rise happens over such a large area, but you just never know... It was much closer than I ever thought it would be...

Wick,

You need a place to stay?

I've got some room and my camper is plugged up in the driveway if you are interested...

Trying to figure out how bad it'll be, I know of some who lives a few blocks from the lake and is refusing to leave despite evacuation orders.

I got an update for you, but it isn't good. The levees are 8' high and the water coming is 10' deep.
