Water is over the streets. People are moving their cars to higher ground while they can still move.

Houses not getting water yet so hopefully it's crested and will recede shortly

Jefferson at Pecue is flooded and barely passable.

For the poster with family at Live Oaks apartments at Stumberg and Jefferson. Water is starting to spill across the street on Jefferson. Live Oaks parking lot and buildings on the front of the Jefferson side are very low elevation. Warn them.

I'm not familiar with bayou manchac and when it crests which areas will be hit hardest. My sister lives off of old Perkins on edgewater. It's Right between bluff Rd. and Airline Hwy. in Prariville. Bayou Manchac isn't too far from them. Does that area have water now and/or is it expected to get water in the near future. Thanks in advance for any help. Id call her myself but AT&T shut that down.

Most of this is caused by overflowing rivers or is there a great deal of standing water flooding homes as well?

What water system would be causing the flooding on Hoo Shoo Too at Mallard Crossing. Is that the Amite or Manchac? Curious to know how much higher it is expected to get there.

I have AT&T as well and woke up to no service on my cell. Just switched to wifi calling, hopefully texts and calls actually go through.

According to my brother, pretty much south of interstate from Jennings to the basin doesn't need to be traveled. And or can't.

Ended up haveing to go back out last night. Buddy's brother, wife and two small kids were trapped in Montecello. These shots are from Greenwell Springs Rd around midnight.

Just for perspective, Sherwood/Greenwell Springs I could touch the stop light sitting down in my boat.

Does anyone know about Wickland Terrace off Old Hammond? My elderly mother lives there and there is no phone service.

Welp. Brother is being stupid and "not leaving" because their "house is high" even though they're right there where the flooding should be bad. Don't know how to convince him.
