Apparently the dome did not sell enough tickets and at the last moment closed the entire upper deck. People had to stand in line well after the show started some are still there to get new tickets. I purposely purchased center stage row 1 in the upper deck and now I am about as far to the left of the stage as possible in the last row no joke. People are pissed. They could have at least held the show.

Man, I'd be pissed. But I guess my only options would be to either walk out (with a refund) or simply wait in line.

You couldn't have got me to go within a mile of that shitshow with Guns N Roses, or just a gun.

I was surprised when they had this in the dome. There are very few legacy acts popular enough to fill or nearly fill large venues. Apparently GnR is not one of them - at least not in New Orleans.

Def Leppard / REO Speedwagon / Tesla are playing the Smoothie King on August 20th and will probably be nearly full in the concert configuration of about 9-10K seats.

I don't get why they would close the upper deck off? what do they have to gain from giving people crappier seats?

Is it just New Orleans being New Orleans?

I don't know anyone who had a good experience at a G&R show. Period.
