For a game you hate so much you spend a lot of time thinking about it.

I haven't really found anything enjoyable about the game.

If I hadn't had $60 to blow when it was released, I'd be kinda upset I bought it.
At this point it's in the Pokémon go category for me. Just hoping for updates to capitalize on its potential. Probably gonna buy elite dangerous to hopefully scratch the space itch I wanted no man's sky to scratch.

So if I ignored atlas. Do I eventually get the passed?
I'm just at the part where I learned to make my own antimater
Probably not.
Embarking on the Atlas quest line eventually allows you to encounter space anomalies, which I don't think you'll encounter unless you've traveled to at least one Atlas interface.

I've already easily gotten my $60 worth.

Same here. Not really sure what these clowns were expecting out of this game.
It's an indie studio's first big project. The game the detractors want isn't possible to make with today's technology.
The game runs pretty seamlessly outside of a few minor glitches, which given the scale is extremely impressive.
Could they have been more diverse with characters? Sure, but I don't blame the developers for the unrealistic expectations being heaped onto it.

Same, I love this game. It's new and fresh to me and I love exploring. It's nice to throw on after a long day at work and explore planets and space. I love when I hit that beautiful planet with animals and grass, etc everywhere and land on it for the first time and take it in.
And to think, a 10 man studio made this, with their only previous game being:
Makes it an amazing feat. Props to hello games and Sean Murray, for me, they delivered.
They couldn't live up to the hype that was created 3 years ago when Sony decided to market this as an AAA game. It far exceeds my expectations, and I'll be playing it likely until FF XV

I finally got NMS on the 12th when it came out for PC. I played it for about 12 hours total in the first few days.. I enjoy it, but I realized this AM that I haven't played it since Saturday and don't really miss it. I think it'll just be another game in my Steam account that I open and play once in a while, but nothing amazing like Skyrim that still sucks up hours of play time sometimes.
My biggest issue is inventory space. Maybe I'm just a derp, but I am always out of space. I wish upgrade slots and inventory space were separate.

I've heard people complain about this game and then turn around and say they haven't even warped once, lol. Can it be a bit repetitive? Yes. But like any game, you have to get deeper into it to find more things to do and accomplish. I've enjoyed the game a lot and have already gotten my monies worth I feel. Could it use upgrades? Definitely. Would be much better if you could actually find other people's planets and interact with them, but that most likely will never happen. Just take the game for what it's worth. If nothing else, it certainly got me to next Tuesday when M17 releases and I had fun doing it.

I mean all things considered Hello Games still did an amazing job considering how small they are, but they don't deserve a pass for the misleading. They would not have pushed nearly as many units if they were honest about what got cut. Litigation is inevitable.
