What do I use for ammo in my bolt caster? I have it fully charged but it says 0% for ammo.

I have this same weirdness going on with my proton cannon on my ship. It says 0% but I can still shoot it. Every once and a while it tells me to charge it with isotopes but I cant hit X on it to charge and it does nothing. There isn't even a charge status bar on the icon either.

I'm pretty sure everyone knew this going in. Throughout the whole development until release this has been the "very wide, no deep" game. That's what it is supposed to be. And honestly I like that aspect of it. I can jet around space and land on planets, etc and take it all in without being forced to some checkpoint or goal.

Love this game.

Use the scanner while flying in space. It will scan the entire star system and find stuff and make waypoints every time you hit it.

too perfect

Found an exploit on another site that lets you stack the balls in your inventory (honestly you should be able to do this anyway). That along with an awesome MT upgrade I found not too long ago really streamlined the whole process. Made almost 3M in a couple of hours.

Yeah I have a stack of about 20 carite sheets. I was glad to figure that one out.

For those that don't know, if you dismantle something and it gives you multiple items of an item that can't stack, it'll stack it.

So if you dismantle and it gives you 3 carite sheets, you can stack more onto it. About 100. As long as you don't go below 2, you can keep doing it.

This might ruin your game though, depending on how you like playing.

Just got off. Suit is up to 27 slots. I seem to have a knock for finding those pods. Need to save units so I can upgrade my ship.

The space pirates are no problem now. Take them down every time.

Anyone know where to get the v2/v3 Atlas passes? Do I get them from Specialist Polo?

I still don't have Atlas Pass v1. Granted, I've only been in one Atlas Station. But I'm kind of starting to worry about it.

The game will walk you through getting the Atlas passes when the time is right...provided you're doing the Atlas mission. Don't sweat that you're missing anything. You'll get a little notification of an incoming signal with a new marker. Don't want to spoil it beyond that.

I'm not sure you ever get them if you declined the Atlas' help and are just racing to the center of the universe.

You'll randomly receive one after successfully solving the puzzle at operations centers.

Find an orange beacon, and search for colonial outposts - you'll get hits for both operations centers and manufacturing facilities.

Quick question: If I bought a ship that has the Warp Drive Sigma will I ever get the blueprint to make it myself? I've passed on bigger ships because they didn't have this warp drive and the base level warp drive wastes warp cells and allows only one jump per cell.

Yes. And buying a ship with a given technology that you don't yet possess doesn't suddenly imbue you with the ability to construct that technology - you'll still have to acquire the blueprint if you ever want to construct it yourself.

Fyi with the atlas pass v1 you can almost always find an exo suit upgrade in space stations up the ramp opposite from the trading terminal ramp. My suit has 23 slots atm but I've only found 3 drop pods on planets.

I don't think you do if you didn't follow the atlas at the get go, but I could definitely be wrong.

I'm in my like fourth system and just found my first Atlas station. I got my first Atlas stone, but apparently you're supposed to talk to someone at an Atlas Station to get the blueprint and there was no one there.
