I can't believe he nailed him and considers him worse than $aban. They're both punks for running out on their obligations. The interesting thing is it seems like they both pussed out yet they get a pass.
That should cool NFL teams on trying to talk a college coach into taking their job now.

Man, didn't realize he has done the same thing every year since his 1st at Louisville.

Forde's right about Petrino being forced to stay at Arkansas awhile since he's burned so many bridges. Applies to Saban too.

Saban or Petrino either one could leave and obtain better jobs.
Please understand that if Miles had left, SABAN was trying to get this job. He would have left w/ no 2nd thoughts to return to LSU.

I can't believe people are still on this. How in the world could you have that type of info? Are you his buddy? Or are you just the janitor that cleans the barber shop where he gets his hair cut?

wow....this guy seems to have a different job every year

Wow, what an article. He nailed him completely. What a total arse Petrino is; especially promising young players that he'll be around to coach them all the while knowing that he'll jump ship at almost any opportunity. Pathetic!!

Me either, I wouldn't trust that guy with my program. Seems like a short term fix, with the hopes that he likes it there & stays.

Patrino has signed three contracts with three different teams in the last 18 months.

I think the true Petrino came out earlier this year in Atlanta.
Joey Harrington had been the starting quarterback while Byron Leftwich was recovering from a bad ankle. The team had won two games, and Petrino said he would decide on the gameday starter after he evaluated Leftwich's recovery.
Petrino made the announcement in his press conference that Leftwich would be the starter, he then took a few other questions and left. Harrington was brought into the media room for questions, and when he was asked about how he felt that Leftwich would be starting that week, he had no idea - Petrino told the media and then let the media tell Harrington he wasn't starting.

I give him a year and a half...that's his average stay anywhere.
I can see it now...The piggies are 9-0 and ready to play LSU for da boot, Patrino calls a press conference, “Well, it’s been fun, but Hawaii called and offered me 7.25 mil a year. They need some offense since they lost that quarterback, uh, what’s his name. Hawaii’s in the WAC, right? Yeah, great conference…lots of competition, like the uh, the Big 10. We should go 13-0 and play in a BCS championship game. Plus, it’s a great place to raise a family…and I get to wear a leis and dance with hula girls! See ya.”

Sorry if mentioned, but did anyone else hear Peter King on M&M? Wow. Don't know the exact wording but he said parents of the recruits have to question whether to even let their kid shake the man's hand.
Of all the coaches that were mentioned for AR; Butch Davis, Muschamp, Grobe, Tubby, this is the one guy that scares me the least. May be wrong but I don't see him fitting in. People talk about Miles and his ability to speak, holy cow, Petrino in his presser last night was painful. Two subpar years while they try and reload without DMac and Felix and this guy will probably hit the road AGAIN.

I understand that he would've come. My question is would he be ok. I mean the first time when he came our expectations were not that high. All we wanted was a few good seasons and to remain competitive. Then we outdid that. Now every year, unless LSU is a contender for the NC, the fan base is not happy. So do you really think the pressure would be ok. I mean I know Alabama may be worse but coming back here may not be all that easy for him either esp. if he needs to compete with the record Miles has. If LSU wins the NC that makes the whole thing even harder!!! Just my thoughts
