“Entrepreneur,” a smiling Neal said Wednesday from inside Hair Factory.
Add community servant to the list of Neal’s titles. He and Joan Campbell, his co-owner at the shop, opened Hair Factory to free haircuts for all military and first responders, including law enforcement officers and firefighters. Their families were welcome, too.

So much respect for that guy! Congrats Lewis and much success this season and with your businesses!

You have to think as a senior, this guy is a major influence on younger players. That can't help but be a good thing going forward

He will really be flush when he can put some of his future NFL cash into his entrepreneurial ideas. Really forward-thinking gesture on his part to support the good guys. Miles has a team full of high-character gents/savages.

How is he going to run that salon when he's shipped across the country to play NFL football and the previous owner moves to Canada next year? And it's a cash business. I hope he has someone he can totally trust to manage it.

He's probably making so much on tips, too. This is incredible.

NFL players own businesses all over the place. Hometowns, college towns, etc.

I'm sure he has people he can trust and would notice if his bottom line isn't doing well and would replace said person if that was the case. Its not hard. They have electronic ways to track appointments which can easily be cross referenced with the cash in the register.
If its a place that pools tips and a barber isn't pooling tips or something, the others will notice.

What a great role model for every young athlete. Proud that he's a Tiger, and I believe he's going to have a HUGE year.

Fantastic representative of LSU. So proud of my fellow North Carolina native

I was so proud reading this article last night. Seems to be a pretty successful trader as an individual and now he'll probably run another successful business as well.
However, I was thinking that some people somewhere could probably use this to funnel money towards a player. I mean how many college football players own business where boosters can legally funnel money towards them?

I really don't think it should matter once you are an upperclassman. Especially a senior. I don't know though.

I wish I had the drive and passion he has. To reach the pinnacle of his chosen sport and still have time for productive extra-curricular activities like finance and business is pretty incredible. The gesture that is the focus of the thread only adds to his dynamic of being an exceptional human being on top of it all.
Whatever happens on the field, Neal has already succeeded in life.
Almost time for shaving skulls during the week and busting them on the weekend.

Well he will have that NFL salary so probably won't sweat it.
