Does anyone keep up with deleting their emails anymore. I have way over 1000 in my box on my accounts other than gmail

I read most emails immediately. Keeping a bunch unread is just begging to miss something important

Naw, pet peeve of mine. Inbox is reserved for things I need to follow up on. Anything over 50 and I get upset

30K. Too many to go through and I don't want to delete in case I need them later.

Anywhere between 0-10 in my work and personal emails. I only keep things in the inbox if it still needs to be done. Otherwise, it gets categorized into the proper folder. Nothing is left as unread.

I have two inboxes for work, one personal one and one for the department I'm in charge of. The department one has well over 30k but most are read. My personal one is kept clean because it's urgent or important things.

I just mark them all as read. I don't waste time deleting them.

At work I file everything away so I can search through 10+ years of emails easily.

I never delete emails. I do click them so that they show up as having been read. There are 24 unread emails buried somewhere deep in my personal inbox, so I can tell if I got something new if it shows more than that unread.

I can't remember the last time I deleted an email. I'm pretty sure I can search back to emails from freshman year of college (10+ years). I know a few years back I could.

Especially for work, I hate when emails get deleted (they clear out after 3 months if you don't archive them). It's a valuable resource to be able to search for previous communications.
