Has Michigan released any kind of a short list of coaches they might be going after?

They seem to be on lockdown up there.

Hoke (a joke and means Carr is running the asylum) Alumni will be furious. Could cause MSC and BM their jobs.

You never know...they may let English or someone be an interim coach for a year and then go after Les after next season.

I would love to see the meltdown if Hoke is hired.

Ohio St might riot in sure joy.

This guy has Ball State in a bowl game. Ball State.

Just because he's not the head coach of a major program doesn't mean he's not a good option. I think a lot of coaches could do a very good job at Michigan.

Funny but the other day I was thinking of a perfect proposal (Tongue firmly implanted in cheek). Best of worlds for Miles and Michigan and maybe not that bad for us. Make Carr come back for one more year, let Miles go one more year at LSU possibly winning another SEC Championship and maybe even another NC, thereby exorcising the Saban demon of no less hardware than Saban.

The way they conduct a search, I think the pecking order is:

1. Miles
2. Miles
3. Miles
4. Miles
5. Miles
6. Is Bo still alive?
7. Miles
8. Miles
9. Hoke
10. English

Everyone of the proposed scenarios make sense; ie, Carr to stay one more year' English interrum, etc. This has to be very embarassing to Michigan. How pathetic that they can't land a coach. I see two problems with the Carr to next year and the Miles to Michigan scenarios. First, Carr is the supposed one that is thwarting the Miles as head coach bandwagon. Second, after Miles wins the MNC, they will need to come up with 3.4 million per year plus a 1.25 million buyout.

I thought the same thing to until i read a piece about his tenure at ball state. i think it was posted on this board in one of the michigan threads. His qualifications and results at ball state are not that impressive.

Is this a joke? Because if not they would be the biggest joke in college football. Hell hiring App. State coaching would be better.

App State coach has his team playing in their third consecutive national championship game (regular season + playoffs).

Obviously Michigan would never consider this but it seems he is off the radar of all DI-A schools.

I started a thread a few days ago about this guy.

Any thoughts?

What happen with the Cincy coach Brian Kelly? Thought he was a top prospect for the Michigan job.

Remember with Edwin Edwards said the only way I lose this election is if they catch me in bed with a dead girl or a live boy.
