Speculation but who knows. No one has been right so far.

Dont know who will run his offense, (QB), for you guys next year though

People are hoping we keep Denard but if not it will be Devin Gardner (RS Freshmen).

Question about Michiga's New OC

What do you think about Al Borges? I know he was at Auburn so I thought you'd have some insight.

There is no way the LSU fan base could be as bad as the UM fan base right now. We are a f***ing mess.

LOL have you read some of the post here? They can be worse that us. Congrats on keeping your coach.

What are some good Michigan boards to check out?

that the fans wanted Miles but the AD didn't offer the job to Miles.

Truthfully we will speculate because we know LC hates Miles but we don't exactly know how much influence he has @ Michigan now. LSU will have one of the top teams in the country and that's hard to leave. Weather is nice too. :geauxtigers:

Left for Willow Run last night. I think DB is in Ann Arbor now

As was ripped from Rivals pay site by posters last night, Dave had told folks yesterday to prepare Schembechler Hall for a new coach.

Hearing the same on Scout.

I agree, they've been 10000000x's better than arky fans.

LOL, I live next door to a Soooeee.
Michigan Boards are saying things are very close. Should know more tomorrow.

That's certainly a theory that I'm buying into this evening.

Michigan admins don't want to hire Miles. Michigan fans are going to riot if they hire Hoke and not Miles. Miles camp leaks to ESPN that "Miles will accept if offered."

Michigan either A)gets baited into offering Miles or B)looks bad when they don't offer/hire Miles....Win-win for Miles

Miles has always gambled.

Also, I don't know Michigan that well. Is that near ann arbor?

Very Close.

The UM fans posting on TD should stick around in the future. Ive enjoyed reading your posts and the civil nature with which you conduct yourselves. Im sure Ohio State fans would disagree, but hey, you have OSU we have Old Mrs, it happens. Contrast the vile nature of the bama fans when Saban left the dolphins for the tide wishing nothing but failure and destruction of the LSU program, well that was before Les teabagged his lesticals in their cups. :booboo: The pin drop silence from LSU makes ME believe either Les is staying or LSU has a home run hire lined up. Either way, again, to the UM posters here...

Thanks... Love LSU it's my favorite team after Michigan. Go Blue!

If they are unable to meet Miles' financial demands and the talks break down, how would you feel about this entire episode? Would it in any way change your opinion on him?

We are led to believe things would be agreed upon between DB and Miles before they announced a meeting.
Don't worry Brandon will outsmart himself again like he did with Harbaugh. You'll have Miles and we'll have Hoke. :banghead:

I know that Lloyd Carr retired back in July. Does he no longer have any influence on this hire? I thought there was bad blood between he and Miles.

It is speculation that his influence is less with DB than it was with Martin. However he still has influence with Mary Sue Coleman. This is the faction fighting we have.

The Michigan branded plane is leaving NYC and en route to Savannah/Hilton Head. LINK I believe Michigan's search firm (Jed Hughes with Spencer Stuart) is in NYC and they're using Lloyd Carr's place in Hilton Head for certain meetings. Meanwhile, Brandon's Dominos plane is still in Dallas. LINK As far as we know, Miles is still in Baton Rouge but is scheduled to be in Dallas for a speech he's giving on Tuesday at the AFCA. No flights to Savannah from BTR so he's probably going to Dallas which will be very hard to track since there's tons of flights from BTR to airports in the Dallas metro.

Based on the crap happening here. I'll believe it when he's in Ann Arbor.
