Much like with Cam Newton and Matt Ryan, it begins with the NO inferiority complex and the constant need to fixate on a "rival" to which they compare their moribund franchises.
Yea, we can only wish we had as many super Bowl wins as the Panthers and the Falcons. Poor us.

He has led the league in free throw attempts per game in 3 of the last 4 season since he's been with Houston. And that's not because teams foul him to prevent him from scoring - it's because he flails around like spastic moron every time he drives to the basket to get a call.

One of the Best players In the history of the league at getting guys to foul him. There's a reason Rick Carlisle said he's the toughest guy to guard that he's ever seen. Teams preach to their players to keep their hands up and don't slap for the ball. James dangles it out there in front of them. They reach. James teach.

You are either a nerd or from the north. "You guys" sounds so stupid.

Awful defense and a game built around flopping and selling contact. I don't hate the guy but he does not have a game I have a ton of enjoyment watching.
He has a perfect game built for the regular season.

Isn't this what every fan base does?

I've always hated watching him play. He's a volume scorer
He is one of the most efficient scorers in the league.

Why do you guys hate James Harden? by RedRifle
I have never had a problem with him... Maybe the fact that he cries like A bitch on the court. but most of them do that anyway.. I would Love him on the Pelicans with Davis though... INSTANT contender if he was.........

I wish Harden would up the effort on defense, but whatever.

He's a better version of Melo.
Has the same leadership skills too.

I hate his game. A herky jerky foul fest reminds me of those stilted mugging games from the late 90s. Flopping your way to 12 foul shots is not an appealing brand of basketball to me.

I don't have a problem with James Harden. I would take him on Boston in a heartbeat if he was willing to play defense...a little bit.

I know we aren't the Steelers historically, I just think it's funny to see the predictable Saints obsessed haters (ie introducing the Saints into a conversation about James Harden) try and pretend we're somehow jealous of the Falcons, a team we have dominated recently.

I don't think New Orleans has anything to be jealous about when it comes to Atlanta, FWIW.
