Game time is set for 12 p.m. CST to accommodate TV scheduling for Dallas, Atlanta and potentially Houston demonstrations.

Please ensure your mobile device is fully charged and have a backup battery or power outlet nearby to watch streaming video uninterrupted.

If you decide to participate in today's protest, be mindful of your fellow Baton Rouge neighbors that are trying to get to their destination, such as the Mall of Louisiana, Cortana Mall or Wal-Mart and don't block the street(s).

A good "best practice" is to treat the space that you are standing on as if you are about to catch the CATs transportation bus, waiting in your designated area without endangering yourself or others by not being conscious of your whereabouts.

Lastly, please drink plenty of fluids and pick up your trash. Littering, like loitering and trespassing, can result in a civil fine.

Someone should bring some of those big coolers full of Gatorade out there for them.

If it were to have a bunch of laxatives in it...well, shite happens.

Everything still right as rain here in the LP. Wouldn't know anything was going on..... Well, we do have one problem..... There is a shortage of ammo at Bass Pro, so if you were going hunting or to the range you may be SOL

frick it, I guess I'm in. Got nothing better to do today.

Biggest question I've got right now is, what should I get from McDonald's for breakfast?

I wonder if the person he sexually assaulted when they were a minor will be the keynote speaker and describe it blow-by-blow?

don't be assholes and clean out your ashtrays/cupholders in your car before you take to the streets. there will be a few with cut milk jugs. donations are much appreciated.

All I know is that fricking Fleur-de-Lis was closed last night and it pissed me off. My mouth was watering for that pizza.

I am #teamBRPD today.

Yep, the opposition had to be pretty damn shitty to make me side with BRPD, but alas BLM scum is that shitty.

Not much of a protest if you don't interrupt somebody's day.

I have zero problem with the protests. There is a genuine issue of distrust in the black community for police officers. There are plenty of examples of unecessary force and violence in those communities.

But demanding justice, and accepting justice are two different things. If the DOJ clears the officers, that is justice--a felon with a firearm who resisted arrest died in his apprehension. If they are found to have acted outside of their limits and killed a man needlessly and brought to trial, that's justice.

Justice doesn't mean vengeance, it doesn't mean getting your way. That's where the problem lies.
