Uptown Restaurants this weekend

I understand all the chaos in NOLA this weekend with the masses heading in for Escense. A friend and I want to drive in and dine uptown. How are the places? Are they swarmed like the rest of the city?

Nope. Stay out of FQ,CBD and Warehouse District and you should be fine.

Meh. I don't find it all that bad really considering it's still a board that's part of the rant.

I just posted in the other thread a list of good places that are open if you need suggestions in the main areas of Essence.

I don't fear black people, but I hate crowds. Essence attendees are the coolest visitors NOLA gets all year. I have zero complaints.
