Damn man, that list of companies is depressing because 3 or 4 of them will hire just about anyone, especially electricals since there are so few in this state. Hate to tell you, but you really need to branch out and start applying to fricking everything across the country and be willing to move if you hope to work as an engineer.
You're already at a pretty big disadvantage by not having an engineering bachelor's degree.

You are over educated and will never find that 'dream' job your looking because you wasted your time in grad school and have no experience and chose southern over LSU.
Good luck, hope the system treats you well

Should havegotten the engineering degree at Tech; they get hired and usually are good engineers.

You should apply to NASA and NASA primes. Also, SpaceX in Houston for the Texas location. Plan on a day trip to JSC and MSFC and sign up for the emails to learn about job fairs.
Thank you
I appreciate it. I will definitely give it a shot.

Dude, go to all the places you are willing to work in and go to the chamber of commerce page and look at all the companies in that parish.

Seriously, I had a friend who went to BRCC then transferred to LSU and graduated in Mechanical Engineering. He had to take a state job for awhile before he could apply anywhere else. He finally got a job at a place he applied to when he first graduated, go do that.

I added one. State engineering jobs aren't exactly easy to come by at the moment. There are lots of applicants for any position that opens, and contrary to popular belief, there is actually some pretty decent competition to get those jobs. OP's resume wouldn't even get him an interview. Add to that not even passing the FE, and he shouldn't even waste his time applying.
This myth that the state just hires anyone that can fog a mirror needs to die, at least for engineering.

If you are trying to get into a plant, go the contractor route first. It's kinda the hiring pool for many jobs.

Post a picture of your resume, just edit the name and address out. We know everything else about your school history. I look at them all day every day and I'll give you some advice. Anything to make these threads stop...
