Ok buddy you don't know shite about Atlanta roads but you want to argue with someone that has lived here for 20 of my 27 years with the other seven being tuscaloosa/Birmingham. I have driven that atleast 250 times and 78 to Anniston and 20 the rest of the way is faster 225/250 times

If I am wrong, then I am wrong, but it doesn't make sense to me. You could explain it to me, or you can just keep going with the whole condescending douche thing.

Really? I would say ATL is far from a shithole. What makes you say this?

How? Basically the only difference between the two roads is that the speed limit is higher on 20.

Constant road work and traffic

That makes sense, but the last several times I have been on that stretch of 20 it has been wide open.

he's probably only been to the dome for a football game and based his whole opinion on that few blocks of town. Kinda like how people base their entire opinion of LA on bourbon street.
If you think atlanta is a shithole, you're simply in the wrong places. I'm not saying EVERYONE MUST LOVE ATLANTA. Not everywhere is for everybody, duh. But it's far from a "shithole".

I know you don't want to get gas around Six Flags. And The Varsity is pretty overrated.

It's a good chili dog and onion ring joint, people always say it is overrated but it is what it is described as being
And you can get a real loud sack of gas for a ten spot on the west side near six flags(also some good Coke/dope/Molly/mix tapes/stolen guns)

The history of the Varsity is why it's a thing. The food is concession stand grade everyone knows this
Onion rings and frozen orange are good though, for what they are

Yeah the varsity is something everyoen should experience just because of the history and it's pretty unique. But I don't go out of my way to eat there. In fact I only eat there once every other year and it's because I just so happen to be tailgating in the parking lot.

Yes, on the whole. Per capita, BR is probably worse though.

We always say this, but honestly, who ventures away from Centennial and that side when at the Dome? I never do, and that area, while not my favorite, is pretty well kept and has shite to do.
People about our age grew up in an era (pre 96) where intown Atlanta totally sucked arse for the most part. That hasn't been true for over a decade, but opinions like that die hard.
Trust me, for those who don't hang out in Atlanta, you'd rather spend your time intown than in about 75% of the suburbs these days.

Traffic counts went up by about 20% after the 400 toll was yanked.

Went to the Braves/Cubs game Friday last.
Traffic in was fine, traffic out was fine.

Um, no.
Don't get me wrong, it's a perfectly fine place to be and if I had chosen to stay in the South Atlanta would be a top candidate.
But world elite? Negative.
