1 gal vinegar
2 cups Epsom salt
1/4 cup dawn soap
I mix it and sprayed that junk around my driveway and porch. I came back an hour later and everything it hit was wilting.

This is better in my opinion.

Have any of those chemicals you used been evaluated for their impact on the environment?
I know vinegar is a pH altering acid. Dawn is a combination of chemical surfactants and Epsom salt is certainly not a natural soil ingredient.
At least Roundup has been evaluated as a herbicide.

But can be great for soil. Weird, eh?

Vinegar is an acid and soap is a base. It'll be close to neutral.
Neutrality in soil is considered to be between 6 and 8

Burnout is another good one. Nonselective but very effective. It's highly concentrated vinegar (the stuff in your kitchen cabinet is only 3%) and acetic acid (basically orange juice). Fully biodegradable and will be diluted to harmless next time it rains.

My bag of epsom salts says great for soil/plants.

It works OK. It doesn't kill stuff to the root but mainly burns the foilage back. I use 10% vinegar (not table vinegar), 1 oz of Orange oil, salt and TbsP of soap.

Acetic acid is the active ingredient in vinegar. Citric acid and ascorbic acid are found in citrus fruits.

And shown to be highly toxic and banned in many countries. Epsom salts is a known source of magnesium and is beneficial to the soil. I always put a handful in the hole when planting tomatoes and other veggies.

Muriatic acid works well for me

Nothing natural about dawn soap.

Well, I'm sure you know that table salt and vinegar are far more toxic than the phosphonate glycine family of photosynthesis inhibitors. I feel silly even bringing that up.
So, with that in mind, why exactly, do you prefer your home remedies?

A gallon of roundup concentrate costs $100. A gallon of vinegar less than $1.
