In 1934, Long announced that he had arranged for several trains to carry the entire student body to the Tigers’ away game at Vanderbilt University in Nashville to boost the team’s morale.

This series of shots show the last second of the game in which Bert Jones threw a touchdown pass to Brad Davis to tie up the game. The scoreboard images show before and after the touchdown extra point, a diagram of the play, and action shots of the play. Coach Charles McClendon said this after the game: “We always tell our players not to give up even if there’s one second on the board and that’s what it came down to Saturday night.”

always thought the stadium would be better if the field was a bit below the stands,- why anyone sits in those first 6-7 rows is beyond me

1979-Mac's final game in Tiger Stadium. 21-3 victory over MSU.
1971 Sun Bowl victory vs.Iowa State 33-15
I'm not sure of what game this was taken during, but I can recall this being the photo on the cover of the 1968 program cover vs. Kentucky. 13-3 Tiger victory.
