Start the petition to get FKA TF outta here
Starting a petition isn't going to do squat. Need to have an in your face, disruptive protest outside of his office. (Just don't include anyone from the football team.)

You mean like the Mexican protesters in California?

Anyone have a summary of these accusations? Haven't heard anything about them.

How does LSU rank compared to other SEC schools, let alone schools like UVA, Texas, UCLA, U Penn, and Michigan? Blame Jindal too

Yes,King Alexander has been the worst school official for the entire athletic program at LSU of anyone I can recall since I began following it in the early 1970's.
Now Joe Alleva might run him a fairly close race in some respects, but Alexander is a more pervasively destructive force.
I have been wondering when a thread like this would be posted, so many thanks for that.

F King should have been fired in November or December.

You are right on and this clown and our AD should have been gone after the Miles crap

I support new leadership. The LSU brand nationally has been damaged during his employment.

I'm curious as to when the board of supervisors and big donors will have had enough of this clown. I, being a very small donor, can't do much more than complain on TD.

immature faculty
Ever spent much time with university professors? This is largely redundant. Quite a collection of spoiled, petty people. And this coming from someone whose Dad spent his whole career teaching and working as an Administrator at LSU.
F King needs to go. Stat. He is horrible for an already reeling institution. The astronaut should have been kept. He really put the university (back on) the map, gave some serious public credibility that led to an influx of money we hadn't seen in forever, if ever. But, more than the facility resentment, the inability of the BOS to control him caused his demise.
Higher education is doomed in these budgetary times, with our horribly messed up constitution, until someone has the political will and capital to close down a number of institutions and/or convert many of them to two year/Junior colleges. When you look at the outcry when Jindal tried to send SUNO (and their 4% graduation rate) a few blocks down the street to UNO, one can see what an uphill climb this is. Our legislators don't want to give up their backyard playgrounds.

The BoS as appointed by Jindal. He wanted the LSU admin to roll over like dogs to whatever whims he had for LSU. Jindal also forced out the system president. King was a Jindal approved choice.

He is not a good fit at LSU. That is what happens when you are presented with one candidate to interview.

Yes. But lacked the academic credentials to command the respect of the faculty.
That was a problem and they never had any business hiring him, thus setting him up for failure. That said, the guy at least knew what he was doing and I don't recall any major frick-ups during his stay.
As far as I am concerned, I would just as soon have Sean O'Keefe and John Lombardi back at the helm (yes, split the positions again). The only real reason they are no longer around is that they would stand up to Jindal, so Jindal's monkeys (AKA LSU BOS) made them walk the plank. While we're at it, we really need to clean up the BOS, which the governor can do little by little.

bring back Sean O'Keefe! Dude was a winner!
Dude was a fundraising machine. The eggheads forced him out because they though he was using his position at LSU to get on a bunch of BoDs and make extra money.
What those idiots didn't realize was his connections on those boards help drive in millions for the Forever LSU campaign.
