Picked this up today to try, I liked the 7yr so figure a few more years won't hurt. They had the 10yr and the 10yr single barrel for the same price so I flipped a coin.

High proof is usually the low rye profile on saos, which is my favorite. Once the get to 9 yrs I haven't noticed a big difference from 9-11.

Happy. NSD Eve, here's to hoping we land some big uns.

It's good. Very sweet, great nose. Pretty hot, tons of vanilla. Almost like a rum flavor. It's good but I prefer the NEWS and LK.

Ohio liquor sales are run by the state so finding these today was a small miracle.

Thoughts on the Alberta rye? I recently started venturing off into the rye territory, and I have enjoyed this bottle plenty. For those who have experienced it, what do you compare it to? Do you have any suggestions that you would say is similar but better?

Possibly. All I've got left in my stash (unopened) is a SAOS 7yr Rye and a 10yr Regular.
