Meanwhile Bama has had their nutrition center for several years now and getting plans ready for renovation yet LSU cant even stick a shovel in the ground to get the process started.

Not true. Simply being moved.. All I'll say about new location is don't limit your ideas to this Nutrition Center being a stand alone new building...
Yeah, I heard about it being located in a new building that would be constructed near the original site (part of another project - NG). Heard that died too. If in an existing building, than you know something I dont! Interesting..

That's what happens when a university realizes what is bringing in all the money.

Its called responsibility for not paying your medical bills. When people take something for granted, they abuse it, then it goes away...
then we're stuck with bitching and moaning.

i thought the rec center was under construction.
It has been for a while. They're putting in some nice upgrades, but it won't be ready for a while.

they will post the public auction times. It will be about 3 months from now.
Out of curiosity, do you know what brand racks, plates, bars, dumbbells etc?
It's being donated to high schools and shite, not auctioned off.

Why did they spend all the money on the Windows?

The Windows were never replaced on the South End Zone dorms....
Putting the nutrition center in an empty area of the new SEZ addition is a pretty creative solution...the center will be operational a lot sooner for a lot less money
Tearing down the old SEZ dorms, which were constructed in the 1950's will be interesting and considering the construction of the old SEZ, has the least amount of risk

How will it be open sooner? They haven't even started drawing the plans, taking bids, etc.
And tearing down the dorms isn't saving money it is spending more money.

Theirs is in their football ops center. Not a bad idea for LSU to house it in the stadium. A good central location.

Pretty positive that was in the original plans, but other sports had problems with it being at a football facility.

It has already started. Can see the construction on some of the players snapchats when they're working out

Great. We can continue to fall behind in the arms race. SMH.

so they built this giant area in the new south endzone expansion without plans to use it for anything?
