About $200 per person at Cut in Vegas. Best. Steak. Ever. And the wine was also pretty good.

I spent about $9,000 on a meal at St. Elmo's in Indianapolis. It was a work function with about 30 people and lots of wine and alcohol. I paid on the company card so technically I guess I didn't pay for it.

Nah. I mean I guess I can imagine spending $300-$500 or more on a really nice meal for me and my future wife for some special occasion. But as a 28 year old, spending more than $200 on any meal just seems stupid.

You mean there is actually a place in Lake Chuck where you can pay $500 for a meal? Never would have guessed it had anything nicer than Darrels.

Mastros can get out of hand quickly. I had a similar bill in January at Mastros in Palm Desert.

Recently ate at Daniel in NYC (Michelin 3 star french restaurant). Cost $234 per person for the seven course tasting menu. With tip and drinks it was about $500 per person...

Bar bill before dinner $850.00 plus tip
Dinner bill $1680.00 plus tip

I've had more expensive business dinners which I didn't personally pay for and don't see the need to spend that much on a meal.

The most expensive meal I have ever had really was a disappointment. I'd rather spend the time pulling crab pots and making my own.
