Do you want to pay $6-10K/year for private school?

If not look towards Ascension/Livingston Parish

Zachary is too far IMO

Public schools are the pits. Be prepared for private schools unless you move to Ascension Parish, Livingston Parish, Zachary or Central

IF you are going to work in Sherwood Area- and don't want private schools- Prairieville or Denham Springs- maybe Central- thinking commute traffic

Oh he will be fine. 10 years ago, not so much. Corndogs are more concerned with the Gumps at the moment.

You'll regret that decision and dread that commute.

Alright, first question is public v. Private schools

Public:
Prarieville

Private:
Lake Sherwood
Shenandoah
Off Stumberg

Maybe, Inneswold.

If you want to have an easy commute, live where you don't have to pass over certain "barricades" like I-10/12, Airline Highway, Florida Blvd, College Drive, Perkins Road, ect. These roads are all very congested and are a b&tch to cross over at peak times because there are only so many through streets.

As far as suburbs, you definitely want Ascension Parish being on that end of town. Zachary would be a pain getting to where your job is located.
