Subconsciously do you think that women have the expectation/hope that their relationship will appear like those "cute little" movie star relationships appear on sticoms, and reality TV shows? Or maybe even the celebrity tabloids?

The same way that men expect/hope for porn type relationships.

Yes. TV, specifically "reality" TV is ruining society.

I think when you're hit over the head from the get go with Cinderella-esque fairy tales and RomComs then you're probably going to develop a preconceived notion regarding what relationships are like. I think every young girl goes through that stage regarding what the "perfect guy" would be. Most grow out of that, but some never do.

On the flipside of that, I've known a ton of guys who have had to learn the hard way that there's few and far between women who want to have sex with no strings attached (and remain that way).

Not really. So many sitcoms have hot women with ugly men, and they bitch about each other incessantly. I don't see many ideal TV sitcom relationships.

Don't forget Facebook. It's inevitable that at least one of her friends is going on vacation or doing something interesting at any moment. She sees it as "everyone but me is doing something fun" and the bitching commences.

This as well...

Unrealistic expectations and selfish attitudes plague this generation of people in my opinion. I've said it a thousand times, I am very grateful that I don't have to date in today's society.

So last night my gf got mad at me for some shite i posted on TD

So I just wanna say that I think all women deserve movie/TV type relationships and that we as men should strive to make their fairy tales come true and treat them like the princesses they are. Also, threesomes are very unattractive to me as I am only sexually attracted to my gf due to my deep emotional attachments to her.

Thanks.

In my experience, no. Women will choose the better circumstance over true love every time.

100% yes, girls know what pictures their boyfriend liked on facebook but don't know if he had a good meal yet today. Girls have unrealistic expectations because of shite like pintrest and social media.
