Any advice on new workouts for the bicep? Have hit a plateau. Currently doing seated curls with 50's for one set then moving to 2 with 45's and a final 4th with 40's. After that I usually do a few sets of standing hammer curls with 50's.

Haven't been able to up my weight in a few weeks and be able to get good reps in. Any advice? Would like to add more mass to my bicep. I'm tall around 6'4 and I've found it hard to build mass.

Pre workout pic from today. Sorry mirror is dirty. Thanks

Dudes frick up trying to lift as much as possible. You want to fully extend and contract at the peak of the bicep. That's how you get big cannons.

Guys who grab 40 pound dumbbells and start rocking their hips don't do their arms justice.

Stick to barbell and eat like a mofo

I would get that melanoma on your arm checked out.

This is the first time I've clicked on one of these work out threads. Never gonna happen again.

Did you really post a picture of your arms? Actually did you really take a picture of your arm?

How many reps are you doing per set?

Is that your arm? Don't change anything! You're like a Greek god.

Pull-ups

This. If they get too easy for you, grab a strap and hang some plates from your waist and do weighted pull ups

Weighted chin-ups, baw.

I used to be a curl advocate. I went all functional/compound, and am happy.

Honestly, if you look up Arnold's arm workout, which he changed very little for decades:

I used this to great effect for years:

- (Cheating) EZ curl bar curls (I recommend 5x5)

- Standing alternate dumbbell curls

- Incline dumbbell curls (I was relatively unfamiliar with this one before I started on Arnold's routine)

- Seated concentration dumbbell curls

I would alternate bicep and tricep days when I did that routine, 2 times per week. Obviously, if you have an arm day, you can superset your bicep/tricep exercises, generally, although I wouldn't superset the EZ bar curls.

do more tricep workouts. This will improve strength, and make more mass in arms. Bicep is such a small muscle.. work triceps more and you will see better results and more mass in arms

The way your hand is positioned makes it look like you're about to cup your boyfriend's balls.
