His breaking ball is nowhere near the strike zone so nobody is swinging at them anymore, and none of the batters are afraid of his fastball this year either. His fastball has been crushed by a lot of batters, especially the past few weeks.

It's not that they are afraid they can just sit fastball all day.

It's simple he's lost the magic touch with his curveball. So opponents are just sitting on the fastball and teeing off. They know that when a curveball comes it won't be in the strike zone. Hopefully he can turn it around and I think he will.

Pitching behind in to many counts. Anyone will get hit when they're predictable.

...seems to really struggle when pitching from stretch.

Curve is not working and I`m not convinced his arm is 100%.

Dunn gets a lot of praise here, but he needs to be accountable for our pitchers underperforming this year. It's been a disappointment so far.

I don't think anyone should worry. Sometimes a good pitcher or hitter has slumps, and it messes with their individual Psychic minds.
He will snap out of it.
He will snap out of it.

I am worrying. All season he has struggled locating his fastball and knuckle curve.
He may have this problem all year. He still has good stuff when he locates it.

Sometimes pitchers who were formidable lose their confidence and ability to psyche out batters. What's happening to Lange also happened to Matty Ott in 2010. He went from being unhittable to throwing off speed fastballs that regularly sailed over outfield walls.

Not remotely the same.
The scouting report on Ott was out after his freshmen year. Lay off his slider because he rarely threw it for strikes, and when he did, it hung.
His fastball was not a plus pitch and he got shelled.
Lange has electric stuff, when he locates it.

I said it in another thread and I still think it's true after his last outing...it's not his curve that's the problem, it's that he doesn't have last year's control of his fastball that's the issue. He is working behind in the count and, thus, hitters are laying off of the curve ball out of the zone.

Command is not there. He left the slider up w two strikes when he got a little tired. He made a few .200 hitters look like studs. That was his out pitch earlier in the game.

His fastball is electric and his curveball is devastating, with that being said I feel like he should develop a changeup. As a hitter you can completely eliminate the curveball and jump on fastballs early in the count. That's what the teams that have hit him hard have done. If he gets ahead of the count he will usually dominate the hitter (as he should), but hitters know to sit on that one pitch until they get 2 strikes. I've also thought the same thing with Poche. Poche has a good changeup but rarely throws it. Hitters gain confidence and have an edge when they sit on one pitch because we throw mainly FB and CB. Just my 2 cents, but what do I know Dunn gets paid a whole lot more than I do. Pick it up Tigers and lets feed off this last W!

Didn't the same thing happen to Ranaudo? He went like .305 ERA to over 7 in one year. They started pounding his fast ball when he got behind. Reminds me of what is going on with Lange although it is not nearly as bad "yet". Lots of good hitting teams are coming.
