Anyone have any good recommendations?

No, no one here has ever used that kind of service.

Safelite has replaced a windshield for me at work. I'd recommend them I reckon. Not sure what the costs would be w/o insurance. I have $0 deductible for windshield replacement

I used safelite once. I had them come to my work and they replaced the windshield while I'm in the office. Pretty convenient.

I have had 2 windshields replaced in my garage through Safelite. They have cheesy commercials and are more of a national brand than a local entity, but they have done a nice job both times and have been very professional down to the paperwork and warranty documents.

Safelite. Came to my house and fixed a crack in about 20 minutes. Cost $0 with insurance

Used Safelite once. Went inside for a while while the guy was installing the windshield. I come out, and that POS was smoking a cigarette while he sat in my drivers seat and worked on the seal.

Safelite came to my house to replace my windshield. Check with your insurance first, I think it paid around $50, without insurance it would have been around $600 or so.

Safelite uses subpar glass. If in the BR area, call Absolute Auto Glass at 225-413-6842. I have used him a couple of times for replacement.

Safelite uses shitty glass. I used to own a glass shop and refused to buy any of their glass because of that. Call a local company and make sure they buy your glass from Pilkington or PPG

As a matter of fact, I had my windshield replaced yesterday by Safelite at my house. :)
Very happy with their service

I've used 4 different ones over the years and they all came to either my house or office. Just used Safelite last year and he did it in my garage. They are all about the same and no cost to me so it doesn't matter who you use.

I know this is late, but search "Advanced Windshield" and ask for Jason. Best in the biz and goes anywhere.

If you have glass coverage you should easily be able to find someone to replace it with using your $0 deductible and they also should give you at least $100 cash
