I don't know because the information was delivered different then. The Bulls were the beginning of the Information Age and crossing over into other things.
I think that the addition of Rodman made the Bulls must see tv. It was documented the hate between them in Detroit so that dynamic made it even more nuts, plus his antics. You had Rodman linked to maybe two of most recognizable women in the world at the time, Madonna and Electra.

my guess would be Randy Moss. Mainly talking about when he first came into the NFL though. He was a freak.

2007 Patriots/Brady is the closest thing I can come up with. They just couldn't finish the deal.

So Barca has Messi Suarez (the one I didn't know) and Neymar?
I was actually thinking more about their 2009-2012 squads with Xavi and Iniesta.
Curry = Messi
Green = Xavi
Thompson = Iniesta
Kerr = Guardiola

i think that plays into the warriors favor. back then was just the beginning of the explosion of celebrity culture and the information age. but it was still in its infancy. there truly wasnt a 24/7 news cycle and if something went down at 2:00 in the afternoon, you would have to wait until that night to hear about it or at least talk about it at large. thats over now because of the internet. something happens at 2:00:00, you know about it at 2:00:01. hell, even compared to where we were 10 years ago, the news cycle just crushes it today. let alone 20 years ago

Pervis Ellison with the Sacramento Kings. Only thing I can think of.

I doubt any of us will live long enough to see a team as dominant as the Boston Celtics winning 11 championships in 13 years.
For my money, Wayne Gretzky's first 9 NHL seasons is the single most impressive stretch of individual domination in any sport. He won 8 straight Hart Trophies as the league MVP and still holds 60 NHL records.

lol Cam? Yeah, great comparison except for the fact that he's not despised by everyone not a Carolina or AU fan and more importantly, that he's actually the best at his sport.
Cam is not even close.

They're both MVP's and they're both panthers fans.
Hint) It was a joke, DA.

Lionel Messi is destroying records.

This Barca 3 shits on Xavi era.
Saurez, Messi and Neymar may be the best big 3 ever. They are insane and either 3 can take over a game. Messi is the greatest ever.

Brady/Moss and the 2007 Pats
Honey Badger and the 2011 Tigers (expecting a defensive player to score every week was unique)
The home run race in the Summer of 1998, the frenzy around that was surreal
The '96 Bulls with Jordan and the circus that was Rodman

Messi and Barcelona is the correct answer to the OP.

Obvious answer is the Bulls with Jordan. Watching the Bulls win three straight championships was great TV. Jordan unexpectedly retired but when he came back there was nothing that can compare to them chasing the second 3 peat. It was must see TV. No doubt in my mind they win 8 straight if Jordan doesn't retire!

Prime Federer, Nadal & Djokovic. Scary thing is Novak is still at his peak.

It's probably third of the big four pro sports. Do you have a point, or are you just being a smartass?
