I think I've seen about 20 different speculation reports of where DH could be traded to. Morrey desperately trying to dump him.

Might be a Ed Monix in Semi Pro situation. DH for a washing machine.

If history is any indication, Houston is going to make a trade that nobody saw coming. Rarely has the media called a Houston trade before it happens. There's always speculation, and the actual trade is something nobody speculated on.

So I would take all of these "reports" about where Dwight Howard is going with a grain of salt.

I really don't see Dwight getting traded. Trading Dwight is not going to make the Rockets better this year and Morey does not want to add salary beyond next year. I think they play the season out, maybe trading some smaller names like Jones, Lawson, Brewer, Ariza etc.

Why does that matter? Y'all aren't even a playoff team atm.

What's the point of getting the 7/8 seed and getting throttled by GSW/SA or even OKC at this moment?

Not sure its a guarantee that SA throttles anybody tbh. GSW is obviously a much different animal. OKC is also a team that can lose a first rd series depending on matchup.

Well considering Houston beat them something like 5 of 6 or 6 of 7 up until the most recent game where HOU had a comfy lead when d12 got ejected and OKC came back and won ... Safe to say that's a series HOU can definitely win.

Am I doing boom logic right?

In my opinion yea the pels could give the Spurs a series when healthy. Spurs had a 'playoff game' last year v the pels for home court and couldn't win it. A recent SAS win came on an own goal by asik. SAS would ultimately win the series but the SAS isn't the juggernaut they're being made out to be. Not even a threat to knock off GSW IMO.

Clippers would Lance Stephenson in a deal with Magic, but league sources say Clippers probing another deal elsewhere with Stephenson too.

That's a nice pickup, might be able to give them what they thought Hawes would. But doc has been terrible at getting production out of bench players and quickly benching them.

Why does Orlando want to move Frye for Lance? Weird.

Darn just a premature Woj bomb. Apparently Lance and CJ Wilcox is in the deal

It's pretty obvious that Orlando is just cutting long term salary for expirings at this point.

ETA: these two moves would cut 25 mil from their cap next season.
