I think they could manage to be around 500 this year, but they're going down the route the Phillies are at now and we were at in 09-11 where you're really old and your system is terrible so there's nobody to backfill those spots.
Us and the Rangers could be battling at the top of the division for a while, which would be fun. The A's will find a way back because they always do. Who knows with the Mariners, they're just kind of there

Holy crap... did you all see that pic of the piece of bone removed from Neshak's foot? No wonder that dude was struggling at the end of the season.

Agree. And I know them getting Yu back in May is huge, but I wonder how they will work with his pitch count/innings cap. Surely they wont unleash him without a cap in the first year back from TJ surgery. So do they shut him down in September if he is nearing a pre-determined innings cap even if they are in a division title race? Or do they ease him back so slowly at the front end that there wont be an issue in September with IP? Will be interesting to see how they handle that throughout the year.

The Rangers have a good farm but most of their current lineup is getting old AF. They're going to hit reset soon between their current aging lineup and the adjustment of their younger guys.
C Chirinos 32
1B Moreland 30
3B Beltre 37
RF Choo 33
LF Hamilton 35
DH Fielder 32
Choo is still due 5 years and 102 million. Prince has 5 years 90 million from the Rangers (plus 30 paid by the Tigers).
They've got Elvis (27), Stinky Douche (22) and Delino (23) as players in their lineup not already past their prime years. Their window is closing.

With Gallo, Mazara and Brinson coming up to fill 3B, and the corner OF spots I think they'll be able to transition pretty well. Mazara will likely be a big upgrade over Hamilton the moment he comes up. They might regress some this year but I'm talking more over the next 5 years. They do a good job with drafting and developing

Rangers are a real threat. Good starting staff with Yu back. Very tough lineup...deep farm...great manager. We have to beat them

I have a question about how to watch them this year.
I have Cox right now and can't get root. I don't want blackouts from mlb.tv either. Will sling TV online subscription have root sports?

I think I remember reading that SlingTV doesn't offer a la carte subscriptions. Doesn't look like Root was going to be offered in any sports package. But it has been a while since I looked into it.

Lulling the fanbase to sleep over what they want and then finally sneaking it under our nose. Such a Losenow move

I don't know why anybody is surprised at this.
The fact that they're diversifying Tucker even more sounds like a sure sign that Gattis' 25 man roster spot will go to Ted's brother to start the season.
Fresno oughta be sick to start off the year with White, Reed, Moran, Duffy and crew.
