Is it really weird? Every week there are 20 threads about the Panthers, Cam more specifically, and the Auburn fans are unbearable after every win. Carolina is in the Saints' division, Saints play them twice a year, Panthers (see:Auburn) fans talked shite all year long. Panthers, Cam, fall on their faces and everyone finds it funny for them to get a taste of their own medicine. Seems pretty straightforward to me.

Nope. I cheer for the saints way more than LSU. I attend LSU jackass. Oh wait I probably just dislike cam cause I am a saints fan. I dislike the fact that he was paid to play college football, his childish demeanor, and his attitude is piss poor when things aren't going his way. Complete showboat. I attended a Saints panthers game two years ago and this clown comes out warming up in bright green cleats which aren't even legal to wear in the nfl. Just wants the attention

This is a South centric message board, which means a lot of SEC fans and a lot of NFC South fans. Cam has been responsible for the majority of success Auburn and the Panthers have had, at the expense of other SEC and NFC South teams. Auburn and Panther fans have anointed him a living God, and gloat every time he scores and smiles and blesses their children with his balls.
Do we actually care? No. I actually like Cam, I was a believer early on and that's done wonders for my fantasy team. But why follow sports if you can't take enjoyment in your rivals misery?

The only reason he had a chance in this game is his defense. He was awful. He's not elite. Can't handle big pressure when he's down.
