Bucks want to dump MCW and Monroe. Middleton can supposedly be had. Let's see what trade ideas you got, fellas...

I don't think we have the assets to trade for Middleton.

Ryno + DC + 1st, not saying that's good for us, but the best I can think of off the top of my head. It may not even work

We can give them eg and a top 5 protected first. Less draft picks is our motto anyway

EG and a top 6 protected 1st in 2017 is as high as I would go.

I'd rather we don't, but I'm sure Dell couldn't resist giving away another 1st.

They still are if they can dump MCW and Monroe. Parker and Greek Freak are two good building blocks and Henson is a talented defender. They need a playmaking PG and a shooter on the wing.

If we're willing to give up our 1st only top 3 protected and we can get something for Ryno I think you could make it happen. Middleton is one of the few guys I'd give up a top 3 protected 1st for because he's good, young, a 2 way player and locked into a long term deal made under the old cap. If you could get a late 1st or young player on a rookie deal for Ryno, would Milwaukee really get better offers than 2 1sts?

What's better long term, a starting caliber 2 way wing, or a guard like Jamal Murray and $10 million in cap space?

Jrue
QPon
Middleton
AD
Asik

That's a strong starting 5. Asik is the only non entity on offense, and he's been a lot better at the around the basket this year (60.4% at the basket) so he's a legit dump of threat. Having 4 threats on offense changes so many different things because it makes Asik viable long term. All of a sudden what you're looking for is depth and an eventual upgrade at SG that might come in 2017 with cap space if you look like you have 4 legit starters to attract a missing piece FA.

ETA: I like Gyno's trade better, but I don't think this would be a terrible path to go down. It's certainly better than resigning Ryno or trading him for Gay.

I like it, ATL. You're hired. Let me give Demps the bad news.

I like it, but what is the incentive for Milwaukee to take on Tyreke and Jrue? Wouldn't Ryno + 1st + filler be more enticing to a team looking to blow it up?

I have an idea.. hold on

ETA; Middleton for EG works straight up.. But i think we would have to give up some combo of RYNO / REKE/ AJINCA or find a 3rd team to help get monroe out of there as well. plus they'd probably want picks

Exactly. Why in the hell would we want to do that? Jrue is almost the perfect match next to AD

The thing about Gyno's trade is it gives you a ton of flexibility. You still have your own pick and whatever you trade Ryno for. You get 2, 2 way players locked up on old cap deals in Middleton and Henson, and while I think MCW is garbage, he's young enough that I should be able to at least do a JuJu for Beli type of flip for something I like better. Henson also gives you a replacement for Asik when you eventually dump him. The other scenario made Asik viable, this one makes him an eventual dumpee. What you do with all of that flexibility, well that's up to Golden State's assistant GM to decide.

They're Milwaukee and have less director than us? Idk

But they are only like 5 games out of the playoff hunt. If they like the offer enough maybe they try and compete this year and next, then jrue and evans are off the books for $20 mil or so

Or they could decide they made a mistake in locking up Henson and Middleton long term and they just hate mcw that much. They don't play Henson enough as it is

A healthy jrue and evans could put a good team on the floor. frick give em Gordon and Anderson too idgaf

since defense is a concern, i'd imagine it's one of the few places where asik could have some real trade value

sadly, they'd probably demand jrue as well

Can we get off the holiday shite already? This team as is isn't winning this year or next. He's a FA after next season

He's doing is no good and is our biggest trade chip by far with the year left. The expiring diesnt have value like in the past
