Wife had one, got in a wreck and almost totaled it. Eventually traded it in years later for an Acadia.
frick GMC.
I wish she still had the beat up, rebuilt 4Runner. It was more dependable than the brand fricking new GMC.

Wife has a 2015 and it's a great vehicle. Great for parking and can't beat the reliability. Plan on it being my sons first car in 4 years.

2011
Love everything about it except the ride. Drove it to Sanibel (south of Tampa) and it sucked big time.
Upgraded the shocks to Bilstein 5100s and it's a bit better.

I will never stray from Toyota again.
I recently bought another Tacoma. That will be my son's first vehicle in 8 years. Yes, this time I'm keeping it forever. I traded in my last Tacoma and still regret it.

4Runners from the late 90s - 2010 were the best SUVs for it's size on the road. They they went and fricked up how it looks so the new ones looks kinda garbage. I wish I still had my 2002 on a daily basis.

I have an 04 now, bought it used awhile back. Whoever had it before me kept it in mint condition. I love it.
Ditto. Mine is an '06 w/ the V8. Only 60k on the odometer and still feels like a tank.

4Runner is a great car unless you live in the snow belt. The road salt eats up Toyota trucks for some reason. None of that in the Deep South though....so go for it.

Well, LC's are probably the most capable SUV on the planet. LC's are over engineered & built to last at least 20-25 years. It's not uncommon to see them with 300-400,000 miles running just fine.

Apples to oranges Cajun. 4 runners have more than adequate space for a midsize SUV...Why did you buy it in the first place if you ended more room?

Wife has a 2011 and wouldn't trade it for anything else on the road!
Only issue she ever had with it was the rear wiper quit working. She took it to the dealership and within minutes the guy came out and explained that the back window must be completely up for the wiper to work and it was about 1/4 inch down. She was embarrassed.
Been a great vehicle. Will buy again.

I love them. They have been very gradually making the interiors better looking, which was my only real complaint about them. Otherwise, very solid vehicle.

Have you tried changing the rear windshield wiper?

Why are Land Cruisers so expensive???
Over engineering. They're built on what is essentially a 1-ton chassis. The KDSS suspension is unique to the LC YouTube link. They're built in Japan, unlike sequoias, tundras, etc., in a factory that only makes LC's for quality control.
They remind me of Grand Seiko watches.

Nope. Wife is one of those people who takes it to the dealership for EVERYTHING including oil changes. I don't touch it unless I'm driving it and it needs gas.

This is me. Regardless of what people say, Toyota (and Honda) are head and shoulders above any other manufacturer in quality, reliability and resale value.

I have a 2003 Land Cruiser with 170,000 miles and it's a great vehicle.
