Yes. Great vehicles. If you take care of it you can drive it forever.

Owned two. As reliable as they make them.
No ragrets.

Still have a 2000 4runner & have enjoyed 180,000 trouble free miles. Wouldn't hesitate to buy another IF you're looking for a rock solid, reliable body on frame SUV.....this is NOT a crossover & doesn't ride like one.

I really want the trail edition

I owned a 96 the first 4 door delivered to BR. I have also owned a 2006 and the wife currently drives a 2010. Great vehicles.

Have an 09 sport. 110k. I've yet to have a problem. Not one. I've changed the brake pads once. Never was bing on Toyota but I'll definitely buy another.
Interstate mpg sucks though.

I drove a few previous gen 4 runners and they just don't seem solid like the land cruisers. Then again, I believe the cruiser was almost double the price of the 4 runners. But I heard the current models ride pretty good.
Are you looking at the current gen?

Awesome....loved every minute of it ...so much room for activities. You can fit a whole human in the trunk space .

I'm planning to get either a Tacoma or a 4Runner later this year. I'm going to hold out for the 2017 model 4Runner because I think it'll be a new body style (6th generation). Not that I don't like the 5th gen... would just hate to get the last year of a gen.

97 4WD Limited. Blew the engine at 167k, but it might have been due to me going 20k without changing the oil. Stupid college kid, I still miss that damn thing. Will buy another for my next vehicle

Still driving a 97 4WD with manual transmission. Just changed the clutch for the first time but other than that no major repairs or issues. Will drive forever if I can

I had a 1995 as my first vehicle. Loved it. Was the first car my parents bought new and lasted until last fall when it crapped out on me with nearly 300,000 miles

06' Sport 4WD w/ 4.0L V6....been as reliable as they come. Just turned 200K miles and have only had to replace inner CV boots on front axle half shafts...do all my own regular maintenance. Best vehicle I've ever owned, may upsize to a Tundra cause I'm maxed out towing my boat (more of a weight issue than anything else).
