I killed many walking barefoot through clover as a kid. They always stung me when I stepped on them, so I felt like we were even.

I'd rather deal with an advancing Cobra than an in flight cockroach.

I figure I won't kill anything that eats mosquitos and isn't poisonous. Other than that, I'll let them live.
Of course, I've barely seen any kind of bug since moving to Colorado.

Is it common to have ladybug infestations in offices? My office has a ladybug problem too, and I had never even heard of this before.
Yeah, I mean I probably see one on my desk at least once an hour in the afternoon. It might be the same one, I'm not tagging them or anything.
They fall from the light onto my desk, often upside down, so I scoop them right side up and they move along. I probably should be disgusted by this, but they're ladybugs so I don't care.

Every year in late spring there is a hatch of some huge caterpillars around here. They're not everywhere but I generally see several. The things are about 1-1/2" long and 3/8" in diameter. If you accidentally step on one it sounds like a .22 rifle shot, makes an awful mess on your shoe and smells like death warmed over.

I tell you one bug I don't feel bad killing is a wasp. I turn into a mass murdering killer on those bitches when they start building nests.

I used to work with a guy who had a bunch of rose bushes. Aphids were destroying his roses so he mail-ordered a couple thousand lady bugs who were guaranteed to eat the aphids. He released the lady bugs and about 15 minutes into the assault a flock of blackbirds flew in and ate his lady bugs.

carpenter bees + plastic baseball bat = pure fun

I don't like killing tiny ones like mosquitoes and gnats cause they're so cute but I'm fine squashing the bigger bugs like cats and hummingbirds

I don't kill lizards. I like the little fellas. Skinks on the other hand creep me out

There was this huge spider in my apartment that I killed a while back that I felt a little bad about killing too
THIS!!!!!
we went into our den the other day and what looked to me like a black glove on the white fireplace brick turned out to be a GDKC SPIDER!
my wife freaked the frick out..i went into "i better get rid of this before it scuttles away or i will never have another moment's peace in this house"
i asked her to bring me a throaway ziploc container but she was so freaked out she couldn't even think where they were.
so i went to the kitchen with strict orders for her to WATCH THE SPIDER while i was gone and came back and popped that thing over it.
the noise it made (like a giant moth fluttering) creeped me the frick out as it was flipping out trying to find a way out but i slid it over a piece of cardboard (from a cereal box)
took it outside and she made me go about 2 houses away (our lots are 2 acres each LOL) and i flung it into the air and i could hear it hit by the trees about 4 seconds later.
all in all it was funny, we were just sitting down to watch a show when this went down so it pretty much spiked both of our heartrates for awhile.

Cave Crickets Hate those frickers. If you're not quick enough on your first swing those frickers can jump like 10 feet in the air and kill you where you stand

That was the point right?

I have one of those battery-operated Dustbusters. Any spider or other creepy crawly who gets caught in my house gets sucked into the dust bin.

try living on a caribbean island that has a rain forest on it during the wet season. I don't know where those f**kers are coming from but I have atleast 10 dead roaches in my apartment every morning, but atleast those roach bait are doing work. The locals told me the only way to control them is to put any kind of food in the fridge or a ziploc bag and just keep the bait out.
