Looks borderline ginger. Put a Damn shirt on when you are taking a picture with a reflection. Damn dude. That is blinding.

40.3' in BR is high, but not that high. The rate is currently 1,068,000 cfs, which is getting close to levels needed to open Bonnet Carre. The projected 17' in Nola is more of a concern, but it's been worse.

My parents are deciding what to do with their camp that flooded the last time ... 22 inches. Thinking about actually selling it after this situation passes. And after any required cleanup is done.

This stinks. Glad it's just a camp and not their home.

Looked fairly high last night. Ended up with a nice piece of driftwood in the bed of my truck somehow.

I might head out to BC tomorrow to check it out. When the water gets high, it is usually flowing over that road up by the gates and the airplane thing

The Bonnet Carre isn't bad yet. The back down ramps on Airline are still dry as of Tuesday.

What's the latest on Morganza?

I thought I heard someone say they opened something yesterday. Want to say "Overton" or something like that? Couldn't find anything about it

Sources telling me Morganza will be opened Jan 11. Warning going out today to landowners and residents in the areas affected.

Bonnet Carré open as of this morning.

SIAP. Crazy that it's already open in Jan, before any big spring rains.
