Even the biggest LSU fan cannot deny the awesomeness that is Nick Saban and, by association, Alabama.

The man has won 4 of the last 7 national championships at Bama and even has one at LSU. He is truly the College Football GOAT, no doubt about that.

I'm officially past the point of hatred and now sit squarely in the "respectful fandom" column in regards to Nick Saban and Bama (by association). I've fully accepted that LSU will not be Alabama because they're on another level than LSU.

Regardless of how long Miles is the coach at LSU, as long as Nick Saban almost has heart attacks along the Alabama sideline every Saturday in the fall, Bama will be the better coached team and will have the ability to beat LSU and ever other team on their schedule.

Ole Miss, blah blah blah. Hey Ole Miss - win the game that matters and we'll talk. Ole Miss beating its chest because of their win over Bama is officially the same as LSU claiming their 2011 victory over Bama in the Game of the Century. It was the biggest game of the season at that time but when it mattered, we couldn't win. Neither could Ole Miss. They couldn't win the game(s) that mattered and the proof of that is that they played before 1/11/16.

I feel more at peace now that I've been converted. It's almost like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders.
