this guy is even in the ball park of what he looks like on paper, we may be seeing an up and coming that could out-defense Saban. Acknowledging that Saban is a hell of a defensive mastermind, this guy appears to be an up and coming for that same club.

Put down the crack pipe.

We still have Miles, Wilson, and Ogeron on staff. Who gives a crap if he can recruit we need an X and O guy and we got that and more in him. I am still waiting for the retraction because I still do not believe it.

I think the best thing in all of this is we got someone who sounds like they're obsessed with the X's and O's. I'm glad we didn't go for a guy who is just another really good recruiter, considering we have a lot of that already.

Though some probably don't care, this showcases the respect Dave Aranda's Wisconsin's guys had for him. Imagine it'll be pretty emotional for them come September. Were there any equivalent tweets from LSU players about Steele?

A good hire, but his real value will come in recruiting. Get the athletes and you can win with any defense.

I don't get the meaning behind this. Obviously, LSU was cool with Steele walking and getting someone fresh.

He is fat and slow and brings little to the defense.

Coach Aranda will be like a chess master. His D will utilize our talent better. As the new offenses manipulate defenses to create weaknesses, Aranda will play them move for move.
