admittedly, i don't know a ton about the nfl ... i do know the basics and keep up with the standings ... i lived in houston for 20 years before recently moving back to alabama, so i keep up with the texans a bit ... i know they didn't have much of a qb when the season started (hoyer is still a bit of a ?), and o'brien's used 4 of them this season while on their way to their current position which gets them in with a win ... what other coaches should be considered for coach of the year? ... rivera and arians have been there several years, so they've had time to get their system into place and draft some marquee players ...

Arians, Rivera, Zimmer, Bowles, Reid. The winner should probably come from one of those five.

Arians or Rivera, but I gotta give some props to O'brien for the job he's done. They looked like the worst team in football during the month of September. Now the'll likely win their division. Awesome job.

Rivera lost his only WR before the season and is 14-1. He's COY. Arians has done a great job as well.

Patriots. They lost so many players to injuries and still managed to get a bye week.

I am not a Redskins fan at all. Gruden. Deal with that owner and win. Wow.

It will end up being Rivera or Arians, both of whom are deserving.

An underrated selection: Andy Reid. The Chiefs came back from 1-5 to win 9 straight and make the playoffs... That is impressive. The fact that they overcame that adversity, without Jamaal Charles, can't be overlooked.

I think it should be Bowles. Arians and Rivera, impressive, but Jets have been very surprising. Expected them to be a 5 win team.

Ron Rivera.

The Panthers were not expected to do what they have done this year, especially after losing Benjamin and with that o-line.

Fox and Gase in Chicago. That team has a serious talent issue and has only been beaten bad twice this year. Gase has utilized Cutler in a way that allowed him to minimize turnovers and gave him a chance to succeed.

Zimmer has done a great job, but even as a Viking's fan I couldn't vote for him over Rivera.
