pretty ghey to me. No man should ever wear his watch like this. Show off that Rolly or Breitling with pride..and not ghey pride.

whenever i see someone wear their watch like this i automatically assume they are liberals and I've been right 16 out of 19 times.

Some people in the medical field wear their watches like that to help them take a pulse. Most don't tho....

It was also a military thing to keep the face from reflecting

I'm hard on watches. About 1/2 the time it's like that to prevent the face from getting beat up.

If you're worried about the ghey over small stuff like that, you prolly are ghey.

Was originally started by navigators and military scouts so they could hold a map / compass and also see the watch face while moving. Lots of real men wear the watch like this to protect the face and provide visibility while doing manly things. You have the ghey (and probably the AIDS too) for not knowing this.

I'm sure others have pointed out that there are practical applications for this (military, technical, etc) but I agree it looks pretty silly and effeminate to just walk around like that.

But what do you care? I also never got on board with guys wearing watches on their right wrist, and it would prove useful to me as someone who's predominantly left-handed. But I don't really assume anything about anyone based upon it.

I used to wear my watch like this at work for timing things while holding clipboards etc. You get used to wearing it in this fashion after a while.

Never actually thought about it because that watch is attached to someone else's wrist. Why should I care?

I worked with some welders who wore their watch like that. They did it so the weld splatter wouldn't get on their watch face.

I can't recall ever seeing someone wear a watch that way in public, but I must say I find it less ghey than use of "Rolly."

I've done it a few times, but only because I was working on something and had the wrong watch on.
As far as wearing it that way all the time, very ghey.

I think less of people who say stupid shite like this than I do people who wear their watch inside out.
