Barcadia has really good wings. In the same category as TJ Ribs

Pluckers used to be great. But the past couple of times I went I was disappointed.

BFWW dry rub are actually pretty solid.

I always find Pluckers wings overly fried. The meat is too tough. I mostly bake mine at home and replicate the sauce to toss in.

George's has some underrated wings

No hate here.
But the win gs are nothing special, and expensive.
I can make a shitload of bigger better-tasting wings for what I pay for a dozen there.
Also, that parking lot is FULL and its a bitch to find a spot sometimes.

Pluckers Dr. pepper ribs are my go to slathered in blue cheese

where does the Steak and Lube place in Gonzales rank? I know it isn't Baton Rouge but is it better than many of these places?

Drive to New Orleans and get Blue Oak.

I was curious about that place as well. I just remember it from Man vs Food when he did the atomic wing challenge at the one in Pittsburgh

Quaker Steak & Lube isn't very good, imo. I don't care for any of their sauces. My go-to are the garlic-Parm, extra wet, at Pluckers. Not to mention you just can't beat the perks of the Pluckers Club.
