Summer Olympic Games - Which is your favorite year?

I'd say Barcelona 1992.
Atlanta 1996 was good because it was here in states. But how good was '92? The Dream Team in basketball was epic and I recall track and field being competitive.
Seoul 1988 was my least favorite.

1984 for me and it's not even close . Frick the Russians. USA stood as proud as ever in the sports Mecca.

08 was pretty epic, as was '96

1984 for me because the Russians didn't come. What that meant was that it screwed up the odds in McDonald's Olympic game and I basically ate free for about a month. USA was winning multiple medals in sports im which they weren't supposed to even be on the radar.

1996 because Moceanu hot.
Otherwise the Olympics has never held my attention well. I do think Bolt is cool. And the 4x100 swim relay with the U.S. with Phelps over France was great.

1992 Barcelona is GOAT as the place and Olympic experience.
1984 LA is homer GOAT as the flawless and streamlined production and outcomes. LA didn't break the bank and pulled off an awesome Olympics.
1996 Atlanta...ugh...
...some good events, one iconic moment but the whole thing was so blatently corporate - it felt like a sponsored Super Bowl - Coke everywhere...and then the bombing.
Atlanta failed.
If you watch the 1984 Olympics Doc...you see how you do an Olympics without being retarded with breaking the bank and sponsorship.

1996
Because every other year...SPOILERS!
Local TV news still managed to spoil the US women's gymnastics team winning gold because it happened in the afternoon then aired that night.

1992, 1996, 2008, and 2012 were very memorable for me.
2000 and 2004 were not.
With winter games, I'd say 1994, 2002, 2010, and 2014. I barely remember anything from 1998 and basically nothing from 2006.

2002 was the Goat Winter Olympics. Ohno and his short track speed skating races were the coolest thing my 11 year old self had ever seen. Plus we were vacationing in Colorado close by and the family was all around the TV. Pretty cool moments.
