The real problem is that most kids North of Alexandria go to public schools. They have huge land areas, but not alot of people. They also don't have the budgets of most South LA Schools both public and Private, except for a few exceptions, W. Monroe/Neville, etc. The real story is that for the schools to agree, they only did this for the playoffs. W/o the private school gates, most South LA public schools sports wouldn't survive. No parent support, again unlike North LA.
This was all about small schools not wanting to compete against Curtis and Evangel. If they would have allowed them to play up like before, this wouldn't have happened. They were playing up before, then 5A/4A pubs didn't want them in their division. They forced them into enrollment-based divisions. So the 1A/2A schools got upset. The only real solution is to let schools with small enrollments meet certain criteria based on the academics and safety of the kids and let them play where they want.

BM passing game is predicated off the run period. Playaction seams and tunnel screens are the whole passing offense. That's why u see singleton running free so much. If you can stoo the run the passing game is ineffective.

This was the hit Derrick Munson put on Swilling that put him out the game... He's a Junior linebacker that's probably better than Guidry and Fulton...

I know very little about the current state of these two programs, but judging by the downvotes I'm assuming that lots of people don't think this game goes into overtime.

Good player who flys all over the field.
I think Fulton, though, is the best player on D and he will have a few big plays tonight with how much Catholic passes the ball.

While it did put Bjs out of the game, it really didn't. Bjs was doubtful and begged to be let to play. Rum jumped up huge and Bjs was taken out after that hit as a precaution. No point in further injuring the ankle that is still bothering him today.
Eta: 5a is correct on bm's offense.

Will this game be on TV in Baton Rouge? Wanted to make it to the Dome tonight but the odds of that happening are looking slim.
Someone show try and set up a Catholic watch party in Baton Rouge.

Doubtful, Karma.
I think the LHSAA has rights to TV, as well, and may not even show the games until next week?
I could be wrong, but I know that's happened in the past.
