Alleva handled this clusterf@@@ with the same aplomb he handled the Duke Lacrosse team...
Then again, I've been on the get rid of him for a couple of years bandwagon

If LSU would have lost tonight, I think Les would have been fired.
According to Joe, not the case. If that is the narrative he's going with, then he still brought it on himself. If we take what he says as truth then why the hell would he not address it earlier? If he really didn't intend to fire Les then why let him go through the wringer these last 2 weeks...ESPECIALLY this week?
If he WAS planning on letting Les go then he looks like shite for having no plan B, assuming Fisher was plan A.
He either hung Les out to dry or fricked up replacing him. I can't think of an angle that absolves him of this shite storm. There was a reason it was a story in the first place and it isn't just, "well some guys on a message board said he was gonna be fired." If something like that could spawn THIS kind of ordeal then you would see it every damn week.

I have multiple sources reporting that he will be fired Monday. I have the same sources as DALSU, so you know you can believe me.

Pretty pumper article to repeat the same nonsense about ancient memory and not what Les has done the last 4 years.
He doesn't deserve Alleva, but he absolutely deserved that little scare. Hopefully it's a sufficient wakeup.

So, what's the list of media calling for Alleva's head as of now? Finebaum & Dodd only? Not the most illustrious list but I wonder if it'll grow when the weekdays talking heads weigh in?

Alleva should have just lied from the very beginning. "Les Miles is our coach. We have no plan nor desire to change that."
Then, if we got Jimbo nobody would have cared about his fib.

Alleva has no more hand.

Alleva is being treated now much more unfairly than Les ever was.
If Alleva had said "Les is our man and will stay our man" the many fans who witnessed the three humiliating losses would have wanted him ridden out of town on a rail.
Instead he chose to stay quiet, as he should have.
Alleva was placed in a no-win situation by poor coaching performances.

These national media articles are the same ones who will be skewering Miles on the next blunder he makes... They have no dog in the hunt and need to STFU.
