Steele ain't going anywhere. He'll get a pass due to depth issues and "he's a 3-4 guy".

I don't think he'll be back.

Steele?

So hard to say because not only is it his first year with YOUNG defense, but he also dealt with a front 7 that was in shambles.

I would think Les would need to hire a home-run OC in order to keep peace.

I heard he's good at taping ankles...

What should he do?

1) Get a new OC/QB coach that he gives freedom to with a pro-style offense with some spread concepts incorporated

2) Fire BDP and bring back Robinson from USCe

3) Demote Steele to LBer coach/recruiter and hire an actual defensive coordinator that can hold more than two teams all season to under 20 points.

What will happen?

1) likely re-sign Cameron
2) Extend Peveto and Steele

agreed, but i think steele stays.

OC will be some young guy that isnt scared of Les getting fired next year. It will NOT be a big hire.

BDP needs to be banned from Louisiana altogether.

I am 100% serious when I say this. Les needs to hire a qb coach solely to be the qb coach and call his own plays.

Everyone complains when he gets the play sheet out but the offense always functions better even if it is stone age. I think a singular mindset identity and philosophy improves on the cluster we have now. If cam is calling a play to set up something 5-6 plays later and then Les overrides it then its two wasted plays. I think thats whats happening.

We pay these frickers too much to cut them out after one season.

Did you hear Les make the comment about not overhauling the offense? When asked about an offensive overhaul, he said 'do you overhaul Leonard Fournette?' Nothing is changing. Get ready for more underachievement next year. Can't wait!

Why does everyone hate peveto? He's a great recruiter, helps out with defence and unlike the other 2 sides of the field, the teams improved through the year.

No changes needed. Les is the coach and we should trust his judgment. Buckle up guys, looks like we will get to enjoy 7-10 win seasons with no SEC championships or a spot in the playoffs for a long time.

Find a JUCO qb that can hit the side of a barn - or maybe an open receiver. AKA Mett-ins-burger.

I can think of two specific instances where a head coach legitimately removed himself from the offense after being actively involved previously.

Gary Patterson - Always a defense coach, but was involved with offense at TCU up until adopting the Air Raid a few years ago. Very successful move.

Tommy Tuberville - hired Tony Franklin at Auburn. The less said the better about this.

So be careful what you wish for, but there is upside.
