He can blame the OL but the fact of the matter is that EVERYONE knows what LSU's offensive game plan is. They are very predicable and lack any kind of creativity. Their goal on offense is to beat the opponent into submission. This works against inferior opponents which makes up the majority of CFB EXCEPT Alabama.
Saban accepted a more creative offensive approach (reluctantly I might add) and that is the difference bewteen the programs.

Cajun alum your frickin moron. We all know South carolina's defense, and auburn's defense suck!!!! Remember how SC shut down Fournette, but when JD Moore got hurt we opened up the play book and started running out of shotgun?? Do you remember that? Well it would stand to reason if BAMA was shutting down our base I formation junk that spreading the field and making Bama defense the ENTIRE field would give us a better chance and make them work harder!!!!

Who recruited and coached the OL?
The OL that has been paved the way for the best rushing attack in the country? Miles did and they've played fine all year.
Matter of fact, this board was proud of the OL before last night. Now because they have a bad game, they're not any good and the coaches should have been recruiting someone else.
Finicky much?

The maybe we should start laying blame at the General Manager, the guy who is responsible for bringing in these athletes that can't compete with BAMA!! What's his name again?

mean, I thought going in we would have tried to run outside at least a little,
They did. That wasn't there either because the OL was getting beat EVERY PLAY

If only we had a coach who's responsibilities were to correct these deficiencies and call more of those type throws in games early season to get ready for these big games!! Need to look into that!

You really can't be serious. If so,
Posted on 11/8/15 at 4:20 pm to Srbtiger06
Exactly. Harris has no touch whatsoever on the short throws. Is he this bad at the short throws in practice or was he totally rattled by the Bama pressure. Also, the OL was not ready for whatever reason. A lot of credit goes to Bama. They were dominant.

Doesn't matter what you adjust to and run. When you're OL is getting pushed back 3 yards a play, theres nothing there for you.
Well the defensive line wasn't running free into Harris, so he had at least 2.5-3 seconds to get a pass off.
Go back and watch the game and count how long it took for Coker to get the ball to playmakers in space. Less than 3 seconds.
Short quick passes, moving the pocket, take the easy throw.
It's that simple.

But I get that posters want to blame coaches so bad, you're blind to how terrible the OL is playing.
If you don't think coaches are able to minimize weaknesses through gameplan/playcalling you're just a straight up moron.

played for Miles, very well-spoke
Watch that well-spoken stereotype. That's racist.

This is what everyone needs to read and understand, I don't give a shite what t-bob says, this is the truth right here!

Right. Coaches make the players themselves get overpowered on the line. Puts the OL in spots to get pushed back 3 yards a play.
Again, obviously has nothing to do with how a player, or entire unit, is playing

The oline didn't play great, but its hard to blame them when the box is stacked 8+ most of the game and they know your game plan

Truth?
I'm sure you were in the offices with the coaches going through gameplans

It wasn't just the OL that was dominated. The DL was pushed off the LOS, especially in the 2nd half and the Special Teams were terrible.

I love how Miles is blameless year in, year out. I'm in the wrong line of work.
I thought you were an attorney... I've never seen an attorney take the blame for anything.

We tried underneath stuff but it did not work. Coker has touch on his passes, Harris does not. Coker's OL played much better than ours.
