Hopefully they'll increase the size bar in a patch or a mod for it will come out on console.

The size bar does make you be more strategic with your defenses though. You can't just go crazy building turrets.

So i found out that when you manually break down junk in a settlement, it increases the amount of space you have to build. My settlement had reached its cap of how much i could build and then i broke down a ton of junk sitting in the workbench and when i was done there was like 1/4th of the bar remaining when it was completely full before.
This just lowered my build bar to 2/3 when it was full.

Just discovered the scavenging station. Putting those settlers to work.

I wish those freeloading bastids would at least clean up around the place, clear some debris or something.

I've got to learn the console commands to get rid of that stuff.

Say what?
That a good explanation of why my starlight drive in is maxed out in size.

I really enjoy doing all the "repetitive quests", like quartermastery and cleansing the Commonwealth.
They usually send you to a building that almost always has a magazine and good loot
But most importantly , all these buildings tell a story if you take the time to read terminals, notes, and look around.
I've learned the government had A LOT of secret operations going on in the Commonwealth, mostly related to weapon creation
The environments are really well done IMO.

The dead bodies that won't go away, really bug me.
I took the time to drag them out of the building zone, and then they all reappeared.

How the hell do you make mama murphy get out of her shitty chair? I placed her chair on the 2nd story of a building, then tore the building down, but she wouldn't leave it so now she's literally suspended in the middle of a building, glitched out.
The only settlement I have come close to maxing is Sanctuary, I believe. I'm in the process of building my master home in there so I'm sure it'll be full before long.

ha!
I wonder how people get on the roof. When I first started playing, most of the folks in Sanctuary loved to stand on top of the workshop house.

When i figured it out i deleted my whole settlement at the drive in and started over haha. i guess this means there is no cap to how much you can build.

That is a bug from what I have read. The actual stuff in the workshop doesn't count towards the cap and yes there is a cap.
The bug is that breaking down items causes the cap to decrease. So it allows you to build larger structures than they want.
Now, this seems great but there may be a game breaking reason for the cap.
For example, I can remove every item from my workshop. That causes no decrease in the cap. I can take them out of the settlement and drop in another settlement. The cap doesn't decrease.
As stated, this is a bug and no problem exploiting it except it could have some unseen consequence. Similar to using one store to sell all items killed my Dragon Age saves because I exceeded some memory size doohicky.

If it is a bug i guess i will have to finish building my castle before they fix it.
Posted on 12/15/15 at 1:34 pm to 901Rebel
I doubt they patch that anytime soon unless it really could cause the game to permanently glitch.
Posted on 12/15/15 at 1:46 pm to TigerMyth36
I haven't seen any negative consequences to exploiting the glitch. I abuse the shite out of it since I'm constantly breaking down weapons for the components. I've nearly quadrupled my settlement size and I don't even have frame drops yet. This on PS4.

Do I have to go to each individual settlement to collect caps or do all the caps pool at any settlement with a supply line?

Does anyone know if Nuka Cola is back on Target shelves? Bethesda announced that it would be back this week but with no date.
Edit: I wish the bottles looked like in game bottles of Nuka Cola.

No clue. Red Rocket has been my magnum opus. I'm level 30 and I haven't even tried building other settlements. I steal all the other's resources and take them back to Red Rocket.
