I think you need to pick them up. My cash pile only grows when I hit all the settlements and pick up the loot.

Which is why I'm also still not sure of how the sharing works. Which is why I hit all settlements and pick everything up and bring it back to sanctuary.

which will probably eventually break my game because at the moment i think I have about 9k wood and 9k steel along with other junk.

I finally got the gun from the rail road quest. Man do I love it. I also got strong last night and I think I am gonna roll with him over codsworth. I tried to establish a supply in, but for some reason the settlers in sacnutary the option was grayed out. Do I need to send other ppl from the other settlements there or what?

I had that problem. There might be some kind of cap to it I suppose. Just send them to another settlement connected to Sanctuary and all is well.

Not sure. My routes are a mess.

Also not sure why when I dismiss companions, I can't send them where I want. Not sure where half of them are at the moment.

I am over 100 hours in, and I have only used Dog Meat as a companion. I have no interest in any of them.

I found the Vault Tec representative that sold Lone Survivor vault 111 space back in 2077. That was quite the surprise.

also found Drinking Buddy

I felt the same until bringing Nick along. After finishing his quests I tried other companions, but they all are exteemly lame. Codsworth can be good for laughs and Deacon is amusing, since he is always changing costumes.

I will travel with the 3 below, in order to what value they add to the experience for me.

1. Nick Valentine
2. Dogmeat
3. Codsworth

I've only used Dogmeat as well. I can't use anyone else because I'll lose the extra carrying weight from the lone wanderer perk. I'm really bad at managing my inventory.

I have a couple questions. 1. WWhen is a good level to start building settlements? I just got to level 10 last night.

2. Is there an icon that indicates the main story line?

I just finished the Kellogg quest. The one where you kill him.

i find when I have a companion on a quest, i give him a bunch of my junk & weapons so that I can pickup more stuff on the quest....then i forget to get it back from them and dismiss them off into nowhere.

I like valentine a lot. I've been using Danse lately but I'm over him

For the first 50 levels, I mainly used Codsworth.

It is easier to get junk from him. Hitting the all button with other companions cleans out what they are using which is a pain in the arse.

I started using other companions just for their quests which opens up some areas.

I think I have done Macready, Piper, Codsworth and Cait's quest lines. Maybe Danse, not sure. I did use him for a good bit.

Where the heck is Strong? Do you get him from a Quest?

You get him on a distress mission from listening to your radio. Be prepared, though. Tis not easy...

If you have a companion, it isn't too bad. Leaving that place was a pain, though.

Yes, yes it was. I don't think they wanted you to clear the place on the way down.

I tried once. Then just crouched and hid behind that railing on the lift when I could.

shite was a breeze but I always have a companion. Just find Trinity tower if you really want him and his banter about the milk of humanity or some shite like that.

Anyone actually listen to all of the various holotapes. There are too many of those damn things and they ought to have an indicator showing if I already listened to the damn thing.
