Literally the worst I've ever seen it... The incompetency of BRPD is dispicable. It's almost midnight and it's still the biggest abortion of traffic control I've ever seen.....

Been like this since....always.
There's 100k leaving one place.
That'll happen. Veto contra flow?
That doesn't even make sense.

I've been back home in Lafayette for 15 minutes. Learn where to park. I stayed the whole game.

Ssssh. I'd rather not have too many people figure that out.

The vast majority are moving east.

I agree parking some places is an advantage, which is why I usually park there. I also agree with op - for instance what sense does it make to block the on ramp east bound at Acadian like they did last night. Dumb.

You can't compare west bound to east bound. West bound is a piece of cake

Have your escape route planned and park accordingly.

This guy. You're clueless.

We set up contraflow last night and manually pulled two lanes south bound on Highland at Lee for (3) hours before traffic cleared enough to allow the lights to handle the volume.

How long do you think it would have taken if it were only a single lane?

No, I just enjoy using first person when talking about traffic flow on Saturday nights.

River road contraflow killed me. I parked in that free lot thinking I could take river road to the interstate and head back to Lafayette. Nope. Sent my arse all the way across the city of Baton Rouge.

I had no problem at all. Stayed till end of game. Was home within 45 min of game ending. Parked by vet school. Contra flow on River road worked great

Do you know why the interstate was closed at Acadian? I usually go home that way and I've never seen that. They made us go down all the way to government st.

Thought the traffic flow was great after the game. Headed down Burbank and hardly hit my brakes until I made it to Siegen & I-10. Worked great for me.

Not to split hairs here, by why were some people describing nightmare scenarios and others were at home in 20 mins?
